Required Education/Experience/Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of progressive IT experience, including at least 5 years in a management or team leadership role
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, networking, systems administration, and cybersecurity fundamentals
- Experience leading or supporting IT functions in regulated industries, with exposure to the NASA environment and a working knowledge of aerospace industry standards and compliance frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to deliver IT solutions that improve efficiency, align with business objectives, and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising service quality
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong commitment to internal customer satisfaction
Preferred Education/Experience/Skills:
- Master's degree in a related field or advanced certifications
- Proven track record of leading digital transformation, cloud migration, or cost optimization initiatives
- Strong understanding of AI concepts, including machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), and computer vision
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI capabilities into existing systems or workflows to solve real-world business or technical problems
- Experience supporting engineering and development teams, including specialized environments such as flight software or simulation labs
- Familiarity with defense IT environments and industry standards, including a working knowledge of compliance frameworks
