The Gateway HALO Integrator  will be responsible for supporting Support Mission Technical Integration Contract (MTIC) and the NASA M2M Gateway Program.

 

Responsibilities

The HALO Integrator will:

  • Support Mission Technical Integration Contract (MTIC) and the NASA M2M Gateway Program
  • Provide technical review, and verification of Interface Requirements Documents (IRD), Interface Control Documents (ICD) & Interface Definition Documents (IDD) for the Gateway HALO Program Office
  • Provide HALO module programmatic support for technical and payload integration interfaces
  • Serve as the Gateway HALO module representative and SME for systems engineering and integration across the program elements as it pertains to Visiting Vehicle and payload interfaces
  • Serve as a technical liaison between Gateway modules, Visiting Vehicle, and payload interface design requirements.
  • Lead meeting across stakeholders including tracking all open work and actions associated with ICD(s)
  • Author technical and engineering memos and presentations as required
  • Develop and manage a SharePoint for HALO Common Spares
  • Originate procedures, reports, or other documentation in support of HALO module flight related activities
  • Perform other duties as required

 

Qualifications

Required Education/Experience/Skills:

  • BS degree in STEM from an accredited college or university and 1-5 years of appropriate work experience

OR

  • BS degree in STEM from an accredited college or university and 10 years work experience

 

  • Experience developing Visiting Vehicle and Payload ICDs
  • Ability to proactively coordinate across various stakeholders to develop technical documents
  • Requires the use and understanding of basic mathematics and principles
  • Excellent communication skills (in both written and verbal)
  • Proven integration, coordination, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Must be able to multi-task and prioritize work to meet critical schedule requirements in a dynamic environment
  • Must be a proactive, self-starter, highly motivated and take initiative in completing tasks with minimal management direction
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)

 

Preferred Education/Experience/Skills:

  • Systems Engineering or Project Management
  • Experience in developing and managing SharePoint sites
  • Knowledge of the M2M Program including Gateway Module (HALO) and Visiting Vehicle (VV) Design and Operations
  • Experience in Utilization and Vehicle Integration
  • Payload shipping and receiving
  • Knowledge of the Gateway Space Station (HALO) and the M2M Program
  • NASA related Configuration Management Processes
    Experience with Technical Coordination Meetings (TCMs
  • Strong Technical Writing Skills

 

Essential Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.
  • Applicant selected may be subject to government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Work may involve sitting for extended periods.
  • May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lb.
  • Must have sufficient mobility to enter areas of test facilities where necessary.
  • Generally an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.
  • Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, fax, etc.)
  • Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical.
  • Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required.
  • Must be able to work in a team atmosphere.
  • Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation.
  • Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.
  • This position may require some commuting and traveling to other installations as needed.
